Outdoor Cinema Gran Canaria

This is perhaps not the most glamourous location for an open air cinema, on the first floor of a shopping centre on Gran Canaria, however Moonlight is the only permanent outdoor cinema in Europe. There are two projections every night, starting at around 8.30pm (or at sunset) and 10.00pm (or whenever the first film finishes) and many of the films shown are bran new titles. What is more, all movies are aired in their original English with Spanish subtitles (great practice if you are learning the language). There is a high priority given to viewer comfort at Moonlight with plush leather sofas and waiter service (bringing freshly baked pizzas and cocktails to your seat) as standard. And if it should get a little chilly, there are always blankets to hand to curl up in. Parents will be pleased to know that should they wish to watch a picture without the kids, there is a kids play area which will keep them occupied for a couple of hours.
